A rooster custom rod is a one of kind original designed specifically for the selective salt
water fisherman (or woman).
These aren't factory off the shelf
rods!
- When you decide you want a rod, you will spend time on the phone with Master Rod Builder Steve Paterson, talking about how you fish, your style, your body size, what you intend to fish for, your preferences and wants. Together you will select blank, components, guides, colors and a general pattern.
- We prefer to use only the highest quality compenents such as Super Seeker or CalStar Blanks, Batson components, and ALPS reel seats.
- We ask for 50% down payment before we order components. When your rod is complete, you will be emailed pictures of the finished rod...and then you send payment for the balance. We ship as as soon as your payment clears.
- Each rod gets a handmade rod sock, and is shipped in a PVC protective tube.
- Orders are taken on a first deposit, first built basis.
- Occassionally, we have rods in stock that Rooster built just because, or for a show that are avaliable for sale. Just ask!
