Steve Paterson took a rod building class as a youngster in Hawthorne and was immediately hooked!  He spent his teen years building rods for local tackle shops in the winter and working as a deck hand during the summer. 

Although he took a few years sabbatical he is back with old school designs building rods for the serious salt water angler.
